We were contacted by an elected official, concerned that their aviation budget was not returning the number of flights they believed that it should.
Our aviation experts reviewed the existing procedures and spend, and determined that whilst the government were not being charged an excessive fee for aviation services, they could receive more value if all of this spend was centrally managed and controlled.
Through our intervention and management, along with our ability to negotiate through aggregation, the government were able to reduce their charges per hour, improve reporting from the supplier, and receive additional regular aviation services for the same overall spend.
The government also received the peace of mind that by having the spend managed by WAN Services, they were not excessively pre-paying an aviation provider and potentially placing taxpayer funds at risk.
